Meet the Counselors

Mrs. Jordan Henderson brought with her a wealth of experience to the Bethel Park School District when she joined the district in the Fall of 2021. Previously, she served as a high school counselor at Ringgold School District from 2017 to 2021, with additional counseling roles at Baldwin and Sto-Rox School Districts.

Before her school counseling career, Mrs. Henderson worked as a SAP Liaison and Prevention Specialist for Familylinks in several Pittsburgh Public Schools. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Penn State University and a Master's degree in School Counseling from Duquesne University.

At Bethel Park, Mrs. Henderson began her tenure at Neil Armstrong Middle School, transitioning to Independence Middle School for the 2023-2024 academic year. Committed to student, family, and staff support, she employs diverse strategies and monitoring techniques to foster social, emotional, and academic growth.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Mrs. Henderson enjoys cherished moments with her husband, son, and two beagles. Her passions include travel, camping, skiing, concerts, and shopping, all ideally accompanied by a bag of Twizzlers.
