Anxiety Group--focuses on stress relief strategies and mindfulness

Social Skills Group--addresses topics such as friendship, relationship building, and conversations skills for students at various developmental levels

Organizational Skills Group--focuses on strategies to reduce distracted thinking and impulsive behaviors to improve school performance

Newcomers Group--offers students new to BPSD the opportunity to connect with others and with IMS activities.

CAP--includes counselor-selected student representatives to help plan activities throughout the year including such topics as grief awareness and kindness counts

Career Awareness Program--Counselors lead classroom lessons through interest inventories and career exploration activities

Individual Counseling--students see counselors or social worker for social, emotional, and academic concerns. Counselors may review schedules, reinforce study and organizational skills, and serve as a liaison between students, teachers, and parents.

Student Assistance Program--SAP team meets to discuss possible interventions for referred students

BESS Universal Screening for behavioral and emotional needs--assesses needs of students in the areas of internalizing, self-regulation, and personal adjustment
