In June, the Independence Middle School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) proudly welcomed a new class of seventh-grade inductees during its annual Spring Induction Ceremony, held in the Bethel Park High School Auditorium. The event recognized students who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the core NJHS pillars of scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship.

The Athletic Department of Bethel Park High School recently held its 16th Annual College-Bound Student Athlete Recognition Reception, honoring 32 seniors who will continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level next year. The event celebrated the dedication and achievements of these student-athletes as they prepare to take their talents to colleges and universities across the country.

The Bethel Park School District has approved a new three-year agreement with its transportation staff, represented by District Council 84 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Independence Middle School (IMS) recognizes outstanding students monthly through its Student of the Month program.
