Throughout April, Bethel Park School District has demonstrated its commitment to inclusivity and support for families of children with autism as part of Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month.

The Bethel Park School District has announced several key administrative appointments for the 2025-26 school year, reflecting its commitment to strong leadership and continued educational excellence.

Independence Middle School’s FCCLA Chapter achieved outstanding success at the 2024-2025 Pennsylvania State Leadership Conference, earning multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals in STAR Event categories. Their achievements have secured them a spot on the STAR Events National Team, where they will represent Bethel Park in Orlando, Florida, this July.

The Bethel Park School District has received three significant awards for excellence in communication in the 2024 PenSPRA Excellence in Education Communication Contest, which highlights school districts from across the commonwealth for their digital and print communication.

The Bethel Park School District prioritizes student and staff safety, so last week, it conducted air quality tests in each affected building. Charles Bove, Director of Environmental Services at Allegheny Global Environmental, performed the tests and confirmed that none of the tested areas showed signs of mold.

In March, Bethel Park High School inducted its Alumni Hall of Fame Class of 2025, honoring five distinguished graduates whose accomplishments have significantly impacted their fields and communities.

This year's Bethel Park school picnic at Kennywood Park will be on Friday, June 20, 2025. Tickets are available for as low as $31.99 if purchased by June 6.

Independence Middle School recognized ten students as Students of the Month for their academic excellence, leadership, and positive contributions to the school community.

Kindergarten registration for the Bethel Park School District is now open online at www.bpsd.org, where parents can complete the enrollment process from home. Required documents include proof of age, proof of residency, and completed health forms. Children must be five years old by September 1 to enroll.
