District Welcomes Distinguished Alumni Class of 2025

In March, Bethel Park High School inducted its Alumni Hall of Fame Class of 2025, honoring five distinguished graduates whose accomplishments have significantly impacted their fields and communities.

Jess Fardella, a 1969 graduate, graduated summa cum laude from Yale University and earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He has had a successful career as a civil and criminal litigator, including roles at Goldman Sachs and as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. Fardella also serves as a trustee for Columbia Memorial Health Hospital and the nonprofit Art21.

Vincent J. Gastgeb, from the Class of 1981, began his career with the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Auxiliary before serving on the Allegheny County Council, where he contributed to several community projects. He later worked on Governor Corbett’s transition team at the state level and has been a dedicated youth sports coach.

Glenn D. Hughes, a 1967 graduate, has dedicated over 35 years to the Bethel Park School District in various roles, including assistant principal and athletic director. He led the girls varsity softball team to the WPIAL and PIAA finals in 1987 and has mentored countless students and educators.

Mary Rose Loney, Class of 1970, was the first woman to manage several major U.S. international airports, including Chicago and Philadelphia. As CFO of the Dallas/Fort Worth airport, she earned recognition for her mentorship of young women pursuing careers in aviation management.
 
Brigadier General Michael Paulick, a 1933 graduate, served with distinction during World War II and was promoted to Brigadier General in 1965. His bravery earned him multiple military honors, including the Distinguished Service Cross and Silver Star.
