The Bethel Park School District has released the schedule for its annual open houses, welcoming families to the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
The open houses will begin with Independence Middle School on Thursday, Aug. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m., inviting all families of seventh and eighth graders. Benjamin Franklin Elementary School follows on Tuesday, Sept. 3, with two sessions based on last names, running from 5:45 to 8 p.m.
William Penn Elementary School and Bethel Park High School will hold open houses on Wednesday, Sept. 4, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., respectively. The schedule continues with Abraham Lincoln Elementary School on Thursday, Sept. 5, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Neil Armstrong Middle School will host its event for fifth and sixth graders on Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., with sessions split by grade level. George Washington Elementary School is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., with a pair of sessions organized by students' last names. Finally, Memorial Elementary School will conclude the open houses on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., with two sessions divided by students' last names.
These events offer a valuable opportunity for families to explore their schools, learn about programs, and connect with faculty and staff.
